Double Chin Treatment

No matter how toned, sculpted and thin you may be, the double chin, turkey neck and jowly jawline can’t be corrected without the help of a medical aesthetics professional. In the past, anyone who wanted to rid themselves of any double chin fat would require a liposuction procedure, and turkey neck or hanging jowls would require a lower facelift or neck lift surgery by a skilled plastic surgeon. If the thought of going under the knife didn’t appeal to you, you’d have to invest in a lot of turtlenecks and scarves, even during the hot summer months, all while knowing you weren’t fooling anyone.

Let’s first discuss why these areas are so difficult to treat. While you can reasonably remove most of your belly fat and tone your thighs, even without surgery, the neck and chin are more difficult. After all, there aren’t any stretches or cardio moves that promise to help you lose weight in your neck.

Numerous factors can cause a stubborn double chin or turkey neck. These include genetics, sun exposure, changes in weight, gravity, and the aging process. We have little or no control over them.
